Beautypreneur Opportunity Assistance Program
The Beautypreneur Opportunity Assistance Program (BOAP) is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering beautypreneurs from marginalized communities to realize their full potential as they embark on their journey to launch, expand, and scale their beauty brands. BOAP offers comprehensive support across three critical areas: cosmetic formulation, pre and post-market product testing, and brand development. Through BOAP, eligible participants receive invaluable financial assistance tailored to cover the essential expenses associated with product and brand development. Moreover, BOAP serves as a bridge connecting participants with industry leaders, ensuring that beautypreneurs have access to the necessary resources, education, and guidance needed to thrive in the fiercely competitive beauty industry.
How It Works
Step 1: Apply
Qualified aspiring or established beautyprenuers can apply to participate in The Beautypreneur Opportunity Assistance Program (BOAP) by filling out our online application form. The application requests details about the beauty brand, background, products, and financial circumstances, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the applicant's vision and needs.

Step 2: Assessment
Our team carefully reviews each application to assess eligibility and alignment with the program's mission. We assess the potential impact of the brand, its products, and the beautypreneur's dedication to achieving success, ensuring that each participant aligns with our mission of empowerment and inclusivity.

Step 3: Selection
Upon review, chosen applicants are notified and invited to advance in the application process. As part of the selection process, applicants are required to complete a product brief, comprehensive business workbook or provide a completed business plan, outlining their brand's objectives, strategies, and anticipated outcomes.
Step 4: Funding
Following selection, participants receive either partial or full financial assistance tailored to cover the essential expenses associated with product and/or brand development. Payments are made directly to the service providers on behalf of the participant, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Eligibility Criteria
Business Stage
Applicants must be at the startup or expansion stage of their beauty brand. Whether launching a new venture or seeking to grow an existing beauty brand, participants should demonstrate a clear commitment to advancing their business.

Marginalized Communities
BOAP is dedicated to supporting beautypreneurs from marginalized communities, including black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), women, LGBTQ+, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Applicants must identify with at least one of these communities.
Financial Need
Eligible applicants must demonstrate a genuine financial need for assistance with product and/or brand development expenses. This includes costs associated with cosmetic formulation, product testing, branding, marketing, and other crucial aspects of business growth. Preference is given to applicants with low to moderate incomes. Proof of income is required.
Adherence to Program Guidelines
Participants are required to adhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined by BOAP, which include submitting requested documentation promptly, completing program requirements, and maintaining ethical business practices.
Completion of Application
Applicants must fully complete the BOAP application form, providing accurate and truthful information about themselves and their beauty brand. Incomplete or inaccurate applications may lead to disqualification from the program.

Please note that meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection. All applications will undergo careful review, and selection decisions will be based on financial need and the alignment of applicants with the program's mission.
